For me, all that matters is great piano sound and authentic piano action. The Yamaha P series offers a range of models with just the features you need. All boast superb acoustic and electric piano voices along with a number of other essential instruments such as organs, bass, and even strings. And thanks to their GH (Graded Hammer effect) keyboard, the action on these digital pianos is as close to the real thing as you can get. Of course, what else would you expect from the world's leading manufacturer of acoustic pianos. Just as on a traditional acoustic piano, the keys of the lower notes have a heavier touch, while the higher ones are more responsive to lighter playing. The keyboard's sensitivity can even be adjusted to match your playing style. The P-80 delivers heavyweight performance in a slim and lightweight design. Weighing in at a mere 37 pounds, this digital piano is ideal for gigging musicians or those with space constraints in their home. It has many of the wonderful features found on the P-120/ P120S, including Dynamic Stereo Sampling, Graded Hammer effect keyboard, PC interface, 2- track sequencer and more. The M-Audio Audiophile 192 64-Bit PCI Interface - This is how I connect my computer to everything that is musical in the outside world. USB and Firewire are great but there is no substitute for dedicated PCI. I plan on keeping this card for quite a long time. It will handle all my needs for my home studio. All my gear and software work great thru this soundcard and the balanced connections allows the sound quality to be clear and precise. |
